STATIONREADY LEGAL

Terms of Use

Effective 3 September 2026

In plain language

StationReady is an independent interview practice service. It is not the University, its scores are not official, and no grade or admission outcome is guaranteed.

01

About the service

StationReady provides original Multiple Mini Interview practice scenarios, timed response tools, AI-assisted feedback and personal progress records. It is an independent product and is not operated by, affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the University of Auckland or any other university.

References to a university, interview format, station domain or assessment attribute describe publicly available information only. StationReady does not provide official interview questions, confidential admissions material or a University marking service.

02

Practice feedback and outcomes

Scores and feedback are formative estimates generated for practice. They are not grades, professional advice, admissions decisions or a statement of how a University interviewer would score the same response. AI-generated feedback can be incomplete or mistaken and should be considered alongside your own judgement and, where appropriate, feedback from a qualified person.

StationReady does not guarantee an interview invitation, score, grade, offer, admission decision, academic result or professional outcome.

03

Your account

You must provide accurate account information, protect your password and use the service for your own preparation. Tell us promptly if you believe somebody else has accessed your account. You may not sell access, interfere with the service, attempt to extract confidential system instructions, or use automated methods to copy the scenario bank or marking system.

04

Your practice answers

You retain ownership of the original content in your answers. You give StationReady a limited licence to receive, transcribe, store, analyse and display your answers, scores and feedback as needed to operate the service, maintain your dashboard, protect the service and meet legal obligations.

Completed answer transcripts, scores, marker reports and limited delivery measures are stored against your account so that you can review progress. Submitted audio may be held temporarily in private processing storage so an interrupted transcription can resume. Transcript review is off by default; in that normal flow, the recording is deleted after successful transcription before marking continues. If you enable transcript review in your dashboard, the recording remains temporarily available while you read the complete transcript; playback is optional. It is deleted after you confirm that you have read the transcript for marking or discard it to record again. If deletion is interrupted or support must investigate a processing error, the recording may remain private and linked to the saved job until recovery or support cleanup is complete. Raw audio is not retained as part of your progress record. More detail is provided in the Privacy Notice.

05

Optional model improvement

You may separately choose to allow eligible existing and future practice transcripts, scores, reports and related rubric-decision and comparison data to be used to evaluate, calibrate or train future StationReady markers. This permission is optional and does not affect access to the service or your results. Where reasonably practical, direct account identifiers will be removed before records are selected for this work, but a transcript may still contain identifying details entered by the student.

You can withdraw permission for new model-improvement use from your dashboard. Withdrawal will stop new selection of your records, but it may not be possible to remove information already incorporated into an aggregated evaluation result or a model that has already been trained. StationReady will not sell your practice answers as a student-answer dataset.

06

Keep real people’s information out

Use fictional or suitably generalised examples. Do not submit a patient’s name, NHI number, contact details, images, private health information, confidential placement material, recalled interview content, or information that identifies another person. If you discuss a personal experience, include only what is reasonably needed for practice.

07

Plans, access and payments

The complimentary account includes one marked practice station. StationReady offers three fixed one-time packages: NZ$35 for Mocks 1–5, NZ$70 for Mocks 1–10, and NZ$99 for Mocks 1–15. Each package provides 12 months of access from its purchase date and includes only the numbered mock range stated at Checkout. A smaller package does not include later-numbered mocks merely because they exist or are published during that access period.

Each fixed question may be submitted once per account. Each fixed mock may be completed once and cannot be reopened after all seven stations are complete. An unfinished included mock remains available to resume, and its completed station reports remain stored in the dashboard. This rule preserves question integrity and makes progress comparisons based on distinct scenarios.

The current catalogue contains 15 different fixed mocks, each with one station from every domain. Further content may be added or existing content may be quality-reviewed, but a purchase is for the exact first 5, 10 or 15 numbered mocks displayed for that package. Additional mocks above that range are not promised or included unless StationReady expressly says otherwise in a later offer. Stripe processes the payment and displays the final amount before you confirm the purchase.

Ordinary technical rate limits, service availability, account-security controls and restrictions against automated, abusive or shared-account use still apply. The purchase does not create a subscription and will not renew automatically. StationReady will not take another payment unless you deliberately purchase further access. Access normally ends at the displayed expiry date. A change of mind does not normally produce a refund for used or unused access, except where StationReady agrees otherwise or a refund or other remedy is required by New Zealand law.

A valid Stripe promotion code changes the amount shown in Checkout and must be applied before payment. A valid StationReady mock access code grants the stated allowance of one or five unused complete mocks without a payment. Unless a code states otherwise, each code is single-use, may expire and cannot be exchanged for cash. Different valid mock access codes may be added to the same promotional account. Redeeming another code adds its allowance without erasing completed attempts. Each successful redemption maintains at least 12 months of promotional access from that redemption and may extend the account’s displayed expiry accordingly. Promotional access remains finite and may later be replaced by a paid package.

08

Availability and changes

We work to keep StationReady available and accurate, but continuous access is not promised. We may correct content, change models, adjust features, suspend unsafe activity or withdraw material. We will give reasonable notice of a material change to these terms when practical.

09

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, StationReady is not responsible for a University decision, a result based on reliance on AI feedback, or an indirect loss caused by interruption or loss of access. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.

10

Ending access and contacting us

You may stop using StationReady at any time and may request account deletion. We may restrict or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, threatens security, or misuses other people’s information. These terms are governed by New Zealand law.

Signed-in users can ask a question or give feedback through the private Questions and feedback page. Questions about these terms can also be sent to mentoratutoring@gmail.com.
