StationReady combines original MMI stations with explicit rubrics and evidence-linked feedback. Its station bank, assessment criteria and calibration process were developed and reviewed by current University of Auckland medical students.
The API receives the scenario, interview question, domain and three assigned qualities. This prevents an answer from being assessed against an unrelated generic standard.

Core criteria have the greatest effect on the score, supporting criteria develop the reasoning and refinement criteria add precision. The report explains every decision and shows the supporting excerpt where evidence was found.
StationReady uses the University of Auckland’s publicly available MMI timing, domain descriptions and assessed attributes. It does not use recalled or confidential interview content, or claim access to an internal University marking schedule.

StationReady keeps versioned marker instructions, rubrics and calibration results for internal quality review.Before a response is assessed, the marker receives the selected quality-reviewed StationReady station, three assigned qualities and ten criteria for each quality. It is also told which criteria matter most and when one point depends on another. Test answers developed by current University of Auckland medical students check whether it distinguishes a superficial mention from an idea that is accurately applied.
Each response is then assessed again against the same criteria in a separate conservative rubric pass. The final report uses that completed second set of criterion decisions rather than simply choosing the lower of two numbers.
The result is tied to the student’s response and the criteria for that station. High scores require the core reasoning, while supporting and refinement criteria add depth within the realistic limits of three minutes. Each report shows the complete marking record.
StationReady is an independent practice resource. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Auckland, and its reports do not reproduce an official University score or predict an admission decision.
Questions, rubrics and calibration references retain versions so material changes can be evaluated without silently rewriting earlier results.
Students can review their own transcripts, scores, criterion decisions and feedback. Account-level access controls separate each student’s records.
Using an eligible practice record for future marker improvement requires a separate choice that can be changed in the dashboard. Direct account identifiers are removed where reasonably practical, but students should not include identifying or confidential details in practice answers.
